Steps to Divide Decimals:

   • Move the decimal in $3.75$ one place to the right, making it $37.5$.

2. Divide as Usual: $\frac{37.5}{5} = 7.5$

3. Place the Decimal: The answer is $7.5$.

So, 3.75 div 0.5 = 7.5.
